Iceland is most famous for its Salmon and trout fishing but there is more to Iceland than meets the eye, so to speak. There is a reindeer unting season, not to mention the ptarmigan, ducks, cormorants, shags, guillemots and the goose hunting season.
Hunting permits in Iceland can be arranged and you can import your own firearms, allowing you to prepare you hunting vacation to Iceland with a short notice. Foreig citizens who wish to go hunting in Iceland should obtain a short-term gun license from the Icelandic Police. In order to obtain a hunting card in Iceland you must present a valid hunting card or it's equal.
