Aðalból is one of the most inland habitations in the entire country and is well known as the farm described in the Saga of Hrafnkell.  There are year-round, daily flights from Reykjavík to the local Airport at Egilsstaðir and direct flights to Egilstaðir Airport from Düsseldorf, Germany, in the summertime. Cars and capable 4WD´s can be rented at the airport, or we can come and pick you up for a small charge.
