Individual tourists and groups now have the change to go to the summit Hekla by snowmobile or a special equipped car in the depths of winter when the view from this magnificent volcano is at its most spectacular. Driving up the slopes and then standing on the hot pumice at the top of this 1.491 meter high peak is an indescribable experience.
