There you will also find Salurinn, an excellent music hall offering various concerts all year round, an excellent outdoor swimming pool with saunas, hot pots and a gym.

Perlan (a.k.a The Pearl), which is undoubtedly the best viewing point in Reykjavik overlooking the whole city, is also within 15 minutes walking distance and so is Kringlan, Iceland’s biggest shopping mall. Smaralind, the second biggest is also located quite close to the guesthouse.

By car it takes five minutes to get to downtown Reykjavik. Fit Car Rental can lease you a car on excellent prices, which creates a new freedom to explore Reykjavik and the surrounding area and even the whole country if you feel like it.
