Where to stay when abroad can be quite a decision, you want to stay central but still have your privacy. You don’t want to spend your time looking up places that can easily be reached within few minutes by foot.

Hotel Fonix (Phoenix) is centrally located right on the main street in Reykjavík, Laugavegur, where you find the most selection of shops, restaurants and cafés, but still out of the crowding area. Just around the corner is a Taxi stand and the main bus station for the city bus. Swimming pools, museums and other attractions are within 10 minutes walking distance.

Small and cozy hotel

Hotel Fonix is a small hotel of 9 spacious rooms, all with private facilities, T.V. and a telephone.  As the first operators to offer non smoking accommodation in Iceland we proudly offer you Hotel Fonix as a Non Smoking Hotel.

Parking can be easily found in front of the hotel or on the side street. Breakfast and all taxes are included in our reasonable room rates and we gladly assist our guests with booking tours and other helpful information’s they may need while staying with us.
