Hótel Bjarkalundur was build in 1945 and manged as a sumer hotel to 1990 or until the local Coop bought it
and rented Bjarkalundur for other to run. In 2001 it was bought by Gudmundur Ólafsson, Grund and has been managed by him and his familly since.
At Hotel Bjarkalundur there are 11 double rooms with washbasin and on both floors there are shared showers and wc. All beds are made and breakfast is in included, sleeping bag accommodations are at Hotel Bjarkalundur, but no cooking facilities.
