Car rental in Iceland

Bílaleiga Akureyrar / EuroRent Iceland is a family owned company and has been one of the largest car rentals in Iceland for over 30 years, or since 1966, offering a great variety of rental cars suiting every need and any task. No one offers a better range of cars varying from small passenger cars like VW Polo up to 4wd Jeeps like Mitsubishi Pajero, 9-15 seater vans such as Ford Econoline, 4wd Double Cab Campers and Luxury vehicles and everything in between.

Our aim is always to fulfil the needs and expectations of our customers and we do our utmost to give as personal but still quick and reliable service as possible. We are very proud of our staff many of whom have been working for the company for many years and therefore have a lot of experience in helping us fulfil this aim. The key to this is that we all work together like one big family and the word problem doesnt exist in our vocabulary. Problems if they arise, which of course can happen when driving in Iceland, are to be solved. Our best advertisement is the many satisfied customers through the years who in many cases come again and again and this we are grateful for.

Bílaleiga Akureyrar / EuroRent Iceland has 12 rental locations all around Iceland so it is easy to pick up a car at one place and leave it at another. The biggest stations are in Reykjavík and we have a desk at Keflavik International airport, but the head office of the company is in Akureyri which often is called the capital of the north. You can get your rental car at any of these rental stations or we can pick you up from your hotel / guesthouse free of charge within city limits.
